Kevin McCarthy enjoys a unique background that makes him well-suited for the task of helping small businesses, realtors, mortgage brokers, churches and non-profits communicate more effectively with their clients and prospects.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and a wide spectrum of experience that provides him a unique eye for combining the science of marketing with today's technology.
On the marketing side, Kevin has years of sales and marketing training having cut his teeth in the sale of home improvement products from decks to windows, siding and enclosures having won several top seller awards along the way. After a stint as regional sale manager for the Washington Times Weekly National Edition, beginning in the mid-1990's, Kevin began to gravitate toward the new digital technologies and was trained in the field of presentation software development and graphic design. During that time, he worked as a consultant with Atlantic Video of Washington D.C. working with speakers and presenters, developing a wide range of presentation materials in a series of conferences held throughout the Washington Metro area. During that time, Kevin could be found in virtually every major hotel in the city providing his technical expertise and assistance.
From there, Kevin moved into the field of direct mail, advertising copy writing and design. Using the latest digital "web to print" technology at Washington Times Color Graphics, Kevin became an expert in the field of design for personalized, targeted, direct mail and served as Special Project Manager.
The natural next step was to bring his print training and knowledge of personalized and relevant marketing into the field of html email marketing. He received special training from InBox360 of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, one of the leading firms in the field of email marketing.
With this wealth of background, Kevin launched Kevin McCarthy Marketing Services in 2008. His abilities are unique in that he combines the best practices of marketing science and sales acumen and combines it with an expertise in today's marketing tools of technology. Kevin often says, "I'm not a computer geekizoid, If you're just looking for a pretty website. . go hire a kid.. .I'm not just selling emails, pretty printed postcards or posters. . I sell strategies. . .I sell ROI. . .I sell more referrals, I sell bringing your clients back more often and increasing the bottom line."
